Hello Parents, Students and Teachers,
As a result of Hurricane Hilary, Watts Learning Center Charter Schools, WLC Elementary and WLC Middle School will be closed on Monday, August 21, 2023.
The storm has brought about intense rain, strong winds, flash flooding, and other hazardous conditions. Governor Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency and city officials have asked residents to remain off the roads during the storm. We have decided students and employees will likely face hazardous conditions where they live and along the commute to our schools. The safety of our students, staff, and community are our top priority.
So again, Watts Learning Center Charter Schools, WLC Elementary and WLC Middle School will be closed on Monday, August 21, 2023. We plan to reopen on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
